EL PRIMER ALCALDE EN LA HISTORIA DE MAIPÚ
AGUSTÍN LLONA ALBIZÚ
ELECTO EN 1894
Las elecciones se realizaron el 4 de marzo de 1894 y fueron electos las primeras nueve mayorías.
Luego en cumplimiento de lo que disponía la ley de esas nueves mayorías fueron electos tres alcaldes y seis regidores a saber :
Alcaldes
Agustín Llona Albizú con 171 votos, Primer Alcalde
José Luís Vial Carvallo con 168 votos, Segundo Alcalde
Luís Infante Cerda con 153 votos, Tercer Alcalde
